Description: Iberia Airlines JFK Terminal was one of those trips that made me realize how easy, when everything goes according to plan, international travel can be. Even though I've flown out of JFK a lot, this time stood out for all the right reasons. I was traveling to Madrid with my family. The Iberia check-in area was clear and well-organized as soon as I got there. The self-service kiosks and helpful staff who were available to assist with baggage tags and boarding passes made the process go quickly even though there was a slight line. Once I had my boarding pass, I made my way through security, which was surprisingly efficient. I’ve had long waits at JFK in the past, but this time everything flowed smoothly. After security, I had plenty of time to relax, grab a bite to eat, and explore the terminal. The gate area was comfortable with lots of seating and charging stations, which is always a plus when you're waiting to board a long-haul flight. Since I was flying in Business Class, I had access to a lounge before boarding, and it was a great spot to unwind before the overnight flight. The lounge had snacks, drinks, Wi-Fi, and plenty of quiet space to decompress. Boarding was called right on time, and the staff were courteous and professional throughout the process. Overall, my experience flying Iberia from JFK was calm, comfortable, and efficient—everything you want when starting an international journey. Whether you're flying for business or leisure, Iberia seems to have the ground experience at JFK down to a science. It definitely set the right tone for the rest of my trip to Spain.
